DescriptionIn this epic, super-sized anniversary issue #50, Norman Osborn once again shows why he should never EVER be underestimated.After some great battle sequences, Peter manages to trick the Green Goblin into ending up in Peter's lab, where he manages to weaken Goblin to a mortal level. But just when it looks like Spidey has his nemesis licked, Goblin utters a keyword phrase, prompting the evil Green Goblin persona to manifest in Peter Parker, who (even as he is choking Norman) goes from a giggle to full blown maniacal laughter as he rips open his mask and is transformed into ... The balance of blacks and whites, not limited to but especially in the backgrounds of p.38 panel 2 and the entirety of page 39, are spectacular to behold. The entire sequence is so fun to behold, especially with how it culminates on the splash!

Oh, Norman...many a trick up those purple gloves :) Fun issue filled with lotsa great visuals and what a way to close it out! I'm thinking Norman may have been a little jealous of what Otto pulled off with Superior! Congrats on the back-to-back pages - the panel storytelling leadup to the big splash reveal!
