People who discovered Guice in this book will swear that this is their favorite time period of his work. Hyper detailed cartoon style with slick patterns everywhere! Jones made it possible with inks that were sharp and stayed true to the vision.

Check out the pebbling of that background wall. Guice drew very round figures at this time, compared to his more angular later work (which I also love).
