Description

A (belated) fourth entry in my "One More Issue" Project commission series, imagining what might have happened if a Golden Age hero and/or title had been given (as the name suggests) one additional issue.

Comic Cavalcade featured the adventures of Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern - as well as back-ups starring, among others, Sargon, Wildcat, Black Canary and the Atom - for the first 29 issues, but then became a funny-animal comic with issue #30 in 1948, lasting until issue #63 in 1954. But what if, rather than changing it to a humour title, DC had opted to give Comic Cavalcade one additional issue featuring super-heroes, and had additionally decided that they would team up the three cover stars in a single book-length story, in this instance also featuring another JSA member (Mr Terrific) and a Batman villain (the Cavalier).
