Description

Here in the Dream Stream, aliens trap some of the resident ‘nightmares’ – including fan favourites Brute and Glob. By taking over the Dream Stream, those dastardly aliens plan to invade Earth by sneaking in through Jed Walker’s dreams – and the Sandman is powerless to stop them!

And it’s all a great excuse for some Kirby tech and monsters.

Sweet Kirby machines and monsters indeed! I've got a soft spot for the Simon & Kirby Sandman mini (especially Brute & Glob) myself, happy to see this page pop up on CAF and in a collection as awesome as yours - congrats!

For sure! I've actually got a page from issue 2 in my gallery, Ernie Chan penciled that one but Mike Royer still on inks so it kept some consistency. Would love to find the right Kirby page from the series some day down the line myself.

Seeing Kirby machinery always bring back memories of reading comics as a kid. I really need to get some Kirby pages!

Very cool, gotta love those Royer inks, tho Kirby's DEMON never bothered me somehow his SANDMAN could, like Serling's Night Gallery in the 70's, who knows?! Congrats!

Thanks! And sometimes the book gave you Wood inks as well. (I haven't got one of those.)

Incredible imagination by Kirby unleashed! It's like when he created Attilan, Wakanda, Galactus, and the rest of the world/universe that's on a bigger level than just a comic. In one page, you have a biblical event.
