John, an incredible page from a great comic! ps I can't believe its on CAF since 2005 and I have not seen it before! I have searched "defenders 1" many times but it does not come up; that's because you have it as "01"; a Sal Buscema masterpiece!

Great Defenders page - love Sal's Hulk and these panels are great examples of how he draws the Jade Giant.

Great page from the first issue of the Defenders! Giacoia's inks are always great on Sal, and the layouts here are so dynamic.

I owned Defenders #1, but as a collector, not a reader. Therefore, I never read it. This page is great. Just hearing The Hulk say, "...Hulk will save day," was worth whatever you paid for this baby.
