Description

I had first met Chad at the 2003 FallCon. He was sitting next to Christopher Rich-McKelvey, who has a very similar art style. I asked both of them for a sketch at that point, and only Chris said he had the time to do it. Chad had mentioned then how he was a big fan of the Legion, and Thunder was his favorite. I tried again at the 2004 FallCon, but by the time I got to him, he was already booked. I figured I'd get to him early at the 2005 FallCon. He told me to drop off the book at the end of the day, and he'd do it at home that night.

When I picked it up, I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the work.
