Description

This is one of my favorite TREK pages in my collection. The 'CONSTITUTION-CLASS REFIT' is one of the most beautiful spaceship designs in all of SF history, IMO. Fight me.

Seasoned art viewers might note the deepness of the black of space on this piece - achieved by Janson inking on a clear cello layer (which, separated from the paper page, is how they achieved the color effect on the finished product).

I think I prefer the dark black of Janson's space to the color effects of the published page.

Cockrum and Janson made a great art team ! One of the best ink works over Cockrum I'd ever seen ! Beautiful !
