DescriptionLots of nostalgic here! And a cool and memorable 70s cover. And the ONLY Iron Man cover that John Buscema ever drew! This cover image was also used for the 7-11 Iron Man plastic cup. Really cool to have Daredevil on this as well.They weren't major villains but compared to other 70s villains they were different ("vampiric aliens") so I always liked the two issues with the Blood Brothers and so was happy to get an opportunity to get this one to join the #88 Gil Kane cover. The fact that this cover image was also used by 7-11 only added to my liking it as a kid. Social/Sharing |

This looks great and I can certainly understand why it's special. Having a great artist who only did one issue of Iron Man and the fact that it reminds you of when you were a kid. Congrats!!

Very nice addition to your collection. I'm guessing that Big John also did not pencil very many DD covers as well so you have 2 for the price of 1. Congrats, Daren!

Man, brings back memories. I use to walk to 7-11 to get my comic books, got a Slurpee and a book. I had forgot about the super heroes on the cups, man those were the good old days.

Owning the ONLY Iron Man cover that John Buscema ever drew, is a totally awesome thing. That fact that it's packed with as much action as any of the 'street-based' Marvel covers of the 1970s is merely an extra bonus!
