Grave Tales 1 pg 28 Owner: sean wallace Comment posted on 8/2/2022 Nice page! The strange panel border shapes add to the main character's disorientation. The apparition's hair spilling out of the border is very nice, and so typical of Morrow's playfulness with page layouts. |

Alex Nino Owner: Ken Picardo Comment posted on 8/2/2022 There's a really playful use of space in this fabulous Nino page. The faces in the last panel initially seem to be a crowd, in perspective, but morph into another stroytelling panel, seemingly with faces in a backdrop and a podium (?). Nino's storytelling always makes for intriguing, graphically pleasing panel designs. |

It is always interesting to see Lopez Espi's take on Marvel characters. In particular, Sue Storm is drawn in a Spanish tradition, more like his romance work on UK titles in the '60s/'70s. A very striking image. |

Man-Thing 6, page 7 Owner: Lee Benaka Comment posted on 7/26/2022 Great story. The opening panel draws the reader in, but it's the final panel that's really clever. The background scene is in light, but the foreground, with Man-thing and the altered cast of characters, is in shadow. It really makes it look like the characters are waiting in the wings, about to enter the stage and take part in the play. A nice sense of drama from Ploog. |
