I also had that feeling when I was buying the individual issues, will it go the distance... I knew it should, but quality and popularity don't always go hand in hand. Bought a couple of issues of Meanwhile, just for Strangehaven, but actively disliked some of the other strips and let it go. I'd love to see it completed and will buy the collections. Beautiful cover by the way! I must find one for myself..

The old chap in the hat is in fact 'Uncle Ump' the creator of candy so good that he had to be exiled from the city for his own safety. Classic Dredd madness beautifully illustrated by McMahon, which is lovingly and skillfully recreated here.

When I look at a Bolland cover, I often wonder just how on earth did he create such a thing. I certainly have that feeling looking at this, from the detail of the hair and wallpaper to the genuinely creepy feeling it generates. A superb cover. (Btw, I really like the comments you leave. It's nice when people take the time to leave even a generic comment but yours, with their thoughtful consideration of the art, are a real pleasure to read).

That's punchy! A great example of Hicklenton's work on Nemesis.

It's a great piece as it is, but personally I'd complete the composition with some carefully constructed paste ups rather than leave the gaps. 

I remember these Oz gallery back pages so well and loved this one. What a great page to own!
