Congrats on a HUGE pick-up! Besides a super-memorable storyline and great splash (the Avengers defeated- no way!), the head-shot roster was an ultra-cool addition that left a lasting impression.  

And you've also got the companion title splash from 166!  These issues were just exceptional - congrats! 

Such a GREAT splash from the exceptional and super-nostalgic three issue story from Avengers 164-166!  Pure gold.

Ya gotta love JB Avengers especially a scarce page showing Av vs X-Men with cool 1/2 splash and great action panels--and not his regular inker. Congrats on the pick-up.

Congrats!  Great acquisition!  I don't even collect Namor but was tempted by this cover!  I've always liked this costume (I think partly because the first time I saw it was in the impactful Defenders 13).

A-MA-ZING Cover!  A huge acquisition.  Surfer, plus all 4 FF members equally positioned plus the Watcher.  Just great stuff!  So cool that Marvel commissioned new covers to these reprinted stories.  Congrats!

Congratulations on the nice pick-up!  What a beauty!  As you note, the IM figure was used in a bunch of different places, including toys and games.  I'm jealous even if it is before my collecting period.  :)

A great two-page pick-up with so many strong panels - especially the second panel above which I think shows a Kirby-distinctive well illustrated dichotomy - Steve Rogers looks young yet old, frail yet strong and anxious yet determined.
