Esquire Domina, this is truly an incredible acquisition. However, I must appeal to your legal background. While this may be page 15 in the storlyline without adverts, it is actually page 27 in the published version as identified in the top right. I own the the page 15 as identified by the published version, and I respectfully request that you change your titlle to page 27 so that other aficionados do not have confusion. I humbly appeal to your legal sensibilities. Also, I own the page just previous to this one. With regards to this three issue arc where I have commented on other CAF owner's posts, Shooter's take on the Avengers was incredible. He brought a lot of self-awarenes and self-doubt within the team that was refreshing with his writing. Was it any more different than other Marvel writers at the time? Not really, as Claremont, Conway, and Engelhart were doing the same with the new, uncanny X-Men, ASM, and Captain America, respectively. However, his focus on Wonder Man from issue 160 to 168 (sans 163) was rather intriguing since he was the 'second' strongest Avenger behind Thor. Along with the artwork from Byrne and Marcos, Shooter's writing for Avengers 164-166 stands, and will always stand, the test of time for incredible storytelling.  :) no problem - fixed it. Thanks. I agree - the compelling storyline and great art still hold up after all those years. |

I told Bob about it back in February, and here's what he posted on his Facebook page: "My dear friend, Kasra Ghanbari, found this scan of the splash page to Iron Man # 91 from 1976, It's the very first interior page I ever did at Marvel. Kasra remembered reading an interview where I talked about taking Wally Wood’s art in from CT to NYC, using the opportunity to show my portfolio around Marvel. While in the office, I overheard John Romita, Sr. on the phone, desperately looking for some inking help on very, very late Tuska pencils that was due in three days. So-- I said what every hungry, wannabe cartoonist has said time immemorial: “I can do it!” Little did I know that it would be a harbinger for things to come.
