I love this piece.  Mike does animals like no other in the business.

I have one of these from a Portland convention circa 1994, before Hellboy had truly been 'officially announced' or anyone really knew who the character was.  Feels like discovering a garage band before they've made it big. :-)

Absolutely sublime page!  That gigantic form in the first few panels is in stark and beautiful contrast to the smaller form of Hal Jordan.  Great purchase.

I've only ever seen this piece at a small scale (in the Blade II art of book) and/or at weak resolution.  It's nice to finally see the awesome detail on this one.  Awesome find!

These wash pieces are amazing and I'm sure this one wasn't cheap.  Well worth it in the end though and kudos.

In my humble opinion, Mike's work has never looked better than on Wake the Devil.  I've owned a few pages from this series and miss them, but this is a great one.

I love the interplay between pencil and inks on this piece.  I'm sure you paid a pretty penny for it, but it shows all over the page and you have every right to be proud of your purchase.

This piece is such a winner.  I still have the 10th Anniversary sketchbook that this piece comes from and it will never leave my collection.

Color guides are often overlooked by collectors, and are definitely under valued for what they represent, but I love them and have owned a number over the years- mostly from Mike's work on Corum.  This one is great!
