This is such an amazingly enchanting piece generated by a creator in his prime on a character that seems to be made for him. The fact that it adds a third to a collection of two that you already have? Wow...such little pieces of magic (or sorcery) so rarely happen in this hobby of ours. But, this one found its way to the perfect home. Congrats, Eric!

Eric - to your first point on Mitch, sometimes the way that art comes to us can color (pun intended) how much we enjoy the piece. A tough negotiation or someone taking advantage of our nostalgia to extract an extreme price can make us simultaneously wince a little while we enjoy what we're acquired. Getting this piece was the exact opposite - a gracious note from someone who had not forgotten a conversation with a collector many years ago. How often do you hear that story? When I look at this piece, that act of graciousnss will always be asscociated with it - and that makes the piece that much better to me!
