Not really a big Finch fan usually, but this is a great example of kinetic energy in a comic page! You actually feel the speed and the impact of the car chase and the action and fighting happening within the chase! Pretty impressive storytelling along with the pretty pictures Finch is known for.

Too bad this incredible art team only lasted one more issue -- the splendiferous CAP 137, guest-starring Spider-Man! Everett then got moved over to Kirby's THOR for a few more crazy awesome ink jobs... OH, yeah -- and this page is GREAT! Dig the Falcon flying around with those crazy-cool Everett speed trails!

Yep, Ploog was one of the great workhorses of 1970's Marvel -- Man-Thing, Frankenstein, Werewolf By Night, Ghost Rider, Planet of the Apes -- awesome stuff, man! And awesome splash!

Holy Crap, that's amazing! Didn't know Freeman was still lurking around and apparently as talented as ever! That is one KILLER commission! Freeman is one of the most underrated comic-art geniuses from the 1980's -- and like P. Craig Russell, equally as talented an inker as a penciller!

Awesome page by an overlooked but awesome run on this book by the late, great Marshall Rogers! Kirby always kept you guessing on how Mr. Miracle escaped from those nutty traps, but Rogers showed you the near-death experience and hard work it takes to break out and be free!

Pure 70's gold! Billy Graham was one of the most underrated artists of the Bronze Age and he gave Tuska the Grit n' Grime needed to pull off Marvel's answer to Blaxploitation! Can ya' dig it?

This is one of the only AQUAMAN comics I own... and all because of this astounding cover. I'd go out on a limb and say it's one of Cardy's 2 or 3 best EVER! (along with the Batman & The Bat Squad BRAVE AND THE BOLD cover) Nice Get, Will!

I used to own this page YEARS ago and it seemed to just disappear from view -- glad to have it back on public display! Great Colan pencils and superb Adkins inks (one of the few times he inked Colan) --- thanks for putting this one up on CAF!

AMAZING cover! But I know for a fact it's not inked by Mitchell or Giordano -- I'm guessing either Bill Everett (or inked a handful of classic Kane covers during this period, including SUB-MARINER 48 & AVENGERS 97) OR Ralph Reese, who inked even FEWER Kane jobs! Either way it ROCKS!

Inking is not "Tracing" -- it's an interpretive art and it's one of the funner visual aspects of comics. Neal needs to relax. Besides, a good argument could be made that Neal's best stuff was inked by Dick Giordano at DC and Tom Palmer at Marvel...
