Great page from a great comic!

A winning idea, masterfully executed. That's a lot of history in six feet of art.
I think just buying the tape to secure this as one extended mural would exhaust my annual art budget, let alone dropping the lucre to frame it!

Outstanding Trashman page... Spain was the greatest, I've loved his work since I was a kid. 

Great page from one of the 70's best comics series. Pablo Marcos's inks over Gulacy were really nice!

Some complain that Romita overpowers Colan in this issue, but it's easy to recognize what each artist brings to the collaboration, and I think the art in Doctor Strange #7 is completely amazing. Thanks for sharing this great splash page!

Billy Graham is an artistic hero of mine. This is a wonderful page from his first Black Panther story!

I know it's nutty to cite one example from a decades-long artistic life, but when I was a kid Val Mayerik's Frankenstein #18... the one that he got to ink himself... was like a child's garden of evocative textures and lush, expressive brushwork. It still slays me, and my brother and I were traumatized that they cancelled the book with that last bravura issue as a harbinger of things to come!

Redondo was one of comics' greatest draftsmen... I love his art! Thanks for sharing these wonderful pages.

Amazing page, showcasing both master artists to great effect. I'm not one who thinks that either collaborator overwhelms or buries the other. This is peak comics, and it is a shame that Gene and Woody didn't work together more.

I always loved Lightle's Classic X-Men covers, and losing him at a relatively young age to Covid last year was so sad- Steve had so much more wonderful art ahead of him.

Great idea for a recreation! Interesting that Maikowski took the unedited image from Jack Kirby’s Fantastic Four: The World’s Greatest Artist’s Edition as his source, and not the cover as published.

I only ever saw this as Batman with his back to the viewer and it never occured to me that we can flip the direction via an anaomaly of perception. Glad to discover that the art didn't end up with Martin Shkreli or some hedge fund bro.

Quesada and Miki certainly put the effort in on this one... great design, and the color hold on the published cover really puts the viwer into the environment. Mighty cool!

I may be alone in preferring Purves over Mcfarlane- especially when Jeff was inked by Marie Severin. Great, fun cover... and it's wonderful that it's all art and doesn't have the hideous UPC box throwing off the balance and composition!
