Amanda Waller: Stone-cold bitch-ass-bitch, knows it and don't care. And it's her with Deadshot, in the storyline that saw him take up a hit on her, her staring him down, and him agreeing to take out the men who'd targeted her for what they paid him...plus a dollar. Classic storyline from a classic book.

There was a certain Sid and Nancy quality to Tommy and Tiegel -- so much passion, but they burned so brightly. Of course they share a big moment in the middle of such chaos. Great page!

A very typical Tommy scene -- trouble from all sides, but he manages to find a silver lining in a quiet moment. I love the smirk in the third panel, that's the character for me, right there.

Love this book! And it's great you got a lettered page, the narration is a great piss-take on Lobo and it has one of my all-time favorite comic book narration footnotes.

A key page! It sets up a good bit of the subtle twist of the story with Shakespeare's son, and also Puck's role in "The Kindly Ones." And a beautiful shot of Morpheus and an equally-lovely shot of Puck at the end -- along with the series' themes of the old stories adapting to the changing times. Magnificent!

One of the greatest superhero stories ever -- a good friend of mine met a lifelong friend because they were both in tears after reading the end of this back in 1980. A real piece of history.
