somehow I missed that you own this gorgeous page by Jac... glad you highlighted the peculiar process he used to create his artwork (the countless brief lines), I would also like to add that he directly used ink without any penciling 

I love snowy landscapes and Micheluzzi here is simply outstanding in drawing them

Sam Kieth is outstanding... my first contact with his art was a Hulk fill-in in the early 90s, Natural Selection, and I instantly became a fan... still am today

you just reminded me of a fellow collector who surprised me on a few occasions with prelims of cover/illustration pieces that I owned, he would come to me during a Comic Con (usually when I was in the queue for a sketch) and just say "here, this is a gift for you", and left me speechless

ah! colors are a wonderful idea, but then I would need to choose between having either the pencil piece or the inked one colored :D 

in the case of flat colors, the inked would probably be the best choice, but if it's something more complex and layered, it would be pencil for sure :)

a magnificent page by Battaglia, the colors are somewhat delicate compared to the darker published

it's true that Mickey Mouse's copyright ended, but it's related only the Steamboat Willie version ;)

and Disney already did an animated short with Mickey in the body of another character, Runaway Brain, but they pretend it doesn't exist... I believe that the policy that caused the ban of the comic was first created for the short cartoon

it's really a pity this story has been banned and so many people in the world will not be able to read it, it's the apex of the gothic trilogy by Enna/Celoni, a true masterpiece
