Wowza. You'd be hard pressed finding a better 70's splash from the King. This one has everything.

You can tell that BWS - the ultra-fast learner - really put some time into that fifth panel. A goregous halted-action shot. I agree that his later work springboarded off of panels like this.

Nifty. Big John certainly does give the Surfer a sense of grace.

I remember this cover fondly. I always go back and forth between Kane and Buscema for Favorite Conan Artist. This is a great pick up.

I think this is my favorite Kirby piece out of all your Kirby pieces (as of this writing you have 66) so … I like it a LOT. Nicely done.

This was the only piece I was watching in that auction. It's such a wonderful example of his work.

I love Yuko's work. I have a couple of originals as well. She never creates a sub-par piece. And, more often than not (as is the case here), she hits a home run.
