I love Henry's line work and use of perspective. The man knows how to get a mile out of an 11x 17. Impressive first year at CAF, glad to see more Valiant fans.

Yeah I was in contact with Henry for these right as they were published. I had to have this page. I knew one of these two were going to die in the coming months. I loved how all three Harbinger ladies visited Torque. And I really wanted the pages showing that. This Harbinger story starting with Perfect Day single handedly got me back into Valiant and modern Valiant art.

Alisson Rodrigues's inks really shine in this issue. X-O's lady fried was all excited about having running water after living as a slave on an alien planet all her life. Once Aric put on Shanhara he rarely left the suit in the beginning so I really like the effect of it coming off.

I have been very fortunate to find several people who were and still are passionate about Valiant art then and now. It may be a small group but it's made up of great people. When I first saw this I had to inquire about it. Harbinger was one of my favorite books back in the day and the most recent incarnation did not disappoint. Thanks for the nice words.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who has his art in the bathroom. I have a Gen 13 page with a guy who just killed himself in the tub. I felt it was quite appropriate. If the Spiderman shower curtain doesn't scare off the ladies why would that? Love seeing your walls full of art. Thanks for sharing.

I like how you have gotten a sketch from just about every artist that has been around in the past few years. I missed Walt Simenson in RI last year because he was only there Sat and I went Sun but I had a great time hanging with Paul Ryan. See you at the Sea port Trade in Aug. At least I think that's the closest local show. The CT show is the weekend after. Better start saving now. :)

Nice page! I think I was there when you bought this page. At the time I didn't have any extra spending money so I didn't even look threw his huge stack of pages but when I over heard him tell you what he wanted for it. I wished I had some extra cash on me. Joe contacted me recently about having these pages available after I posted my Superman 123 page. I hope we get to see him again in the CT, RI, or MA area. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. You can't go wrong with a Paul Ryan FF page. I am lucky enough to live near Mr. Ryan and I get to see him at every local show. He is always a pleasure to hang with and I think he's signed just about every FF comic of his I own. Grats on your first piece of original art.

Super cool! Valiant has really been mucking up there covers lately with UPC's and reviews. They can easily move the UPC to the back and they do on occasion. This is a fantastic cover. I love the Vegas theme and how it looks like a skull from a distance. I wish I could make you an offer on it right now but if you ever decide to part with it in the future, please think of me. Thanks for sharing.

Even with out Batman this still is one of the best pages. The joker in vacation clothes shooting Barbara in front of Gordon. It's the whole point of the story. Too bad your watermark ruins all the pics. What's the point of the close ups if your email address is plastered across all of them?

Alcala should be considered a legend world wide. It's nice to know that others hold him in such high esteem. The last page is cool but I like the dialogue in this page better and it offers a lot more texture and inking techniques. If someone owned both pages it would be like merging both halves of the He-Man sword. lol Thanks for the kind words Jovi. Your end of the year additions are amazing. I hope you saved something for next year.

Esad truly is a modern day master. I can't wait to meet him in Boston in August. I'd love to have his Uncanny X-Force #7 painted cover but I'm just about done paying off Anthony for one piece & I don't want to start on another. Thanks for sharing and grats.

Clayton's pencils are so delicate yet bold. IDK how he does it. His lines are so thin yet sharp and never ending he is certainly is a master at his craft. I would love to be able to see him draw those endless lines. Great commission!
