Thanks! I'm a wee bit more educated now. I know I've got some old Battle of the Planets videos around here. I think a full revisit is LONG overdue... ![]() Someone put out a really nice Blu-Ray collection of the entire series called Gatchaman a few years ago with nice Alex Ross art on it. I think it was the unedited Japanese version of the series. About 13 discs and I believe it was dubbed. Not sure if it had the Battle of the Planets version on it though. |

I was regretably late in discovering FD (long after all the good stuff was scooped up), but wanted to say I love this page. It's Mannion's story-telling and art skills at his best. ![]() It's a nice one. I got lucky and got on the Mannion train really early when he was selling pinups and Strange Pirate Tales and Strange Fairy Tales pages on eBay. I rarely ever win any of his auctions anymore but I love his work. Fearless Dawn is great. |

Very nice. LIked this Jsa vs the one with the Gay Green Lantern. I do hope they bring them back right soon ![]() This was probably my favorite JSA series after the 70's one. I actually enjoyed Earth Two until James Robinson left because of crappy editors. I considered it more of an elseworlds JSA though. |

Great page. Not sure how I feel them being supplemented by the asian B Team ![]() If Jeff Parker was writing it, I would probably enjoy it but since it's written by someone else I have no interest in it. I think the name Agents of ATLAS should be reserved for 50's era heroes. Of course, I don't believe Wolverine or Spider-Man belong in the Avengers so what do I know. |

RoboJim cover by Romita Sr. Owner: Greg McKee Comment posted on 10/25/2011 I just noticed that Romitaman.com had this cover listed as sold on his website so I guess I bought it from the guy who bought it from him. Here's what the website says: This is a cute cover penciled and inked by the great JOHN ROMITA! This was an IN HOUSE comicbook cover drawn on cover stock board, for this person named JIM for his 60th birthday party apparently! For what it's worth not only do we get "Jim" dressed as Ironman somewhat, but we do get a smaller but nice penciled and inked Romita CAPTAIN AMERICA image at top of the cover! |

Wow ! First time I notice Wrightson's take on the Spirit and it's fantastic !! Was there a published book too ? ![]() No published book. I think this was going to be for the DC Spirit series before they restarted it with the First Wave. I would've liked seeing Wrightson complete this story but I don't know how many pages he even finished. I think he only had one other page for the story when I was looking through his portfolio. |
