Thanks!  I started buying some art from British comics like Look-In and was surprised to find all the American TV shows that they adapted like CHiPs, Charlie's Angels, Fall Guy, Knight Rider, etc.

Someone put out a really nice Blu-Ray collection of the entire series called Gatchaman a few years ago with nice Alex Ross art on it.  I think it was the unedited Japanese version of the series.  About 13 discs and I believe it was dubbed.  Not sure if it had the Battle of the Planets version on it though.

I always love non-repro blue pencils.

It's a nice one. I got lucky and got on the Mannion train really early when he was selling pinups and Strange Pirate Tales and Strange Fairy Tales pages on eBay.  I rarely ever win any of his auctions anymore but I love his work.  Fearless Dawn is great.

Also, Ken the Eagle became Mark and Joe the Condor became Jason.

I think that you may be correct.

I always want to go to HeroesCon but never seem to make it.  I mainly just go to small local shows and on rare occasions DragonCon.

This was probably my favorite JSA series after the 70's one. I actually enjoyed Earth Two until James Robinson left because of crappy editors.  I considered it more of an elseworlds JSA though.  

You would have to ask the artist but I guess he was going for a chibi style for them.  They're drawn on the back of a Blackhawk page.

If Jeff Parker was writing it, I would probably enjoy it but since it's written by someone else I have no interest in it.  I think the name Agents of ATLAS should be reserved for 50's era heroes.  Of course, I don't believe Wolverine or Spider-Man belong in the Avengers so what do I know.
