Fantastic Four #89 page 15 Owner: Gordon Bartik Comment posted on 9/16/2015 Cheers Chris; it was one of the things that excited me about this page, the fact that graphically it was so complete with all members clearly involved as well as the FF's first villain to boot. Joe Sinnot's inking makes the both the visual quality and the storytelling of Kirby shine..very much a complete package within the one page. |

Avengers #20, page 10 Owner: Comicart Boston Comment posted on 4/29/2015 I think you raise some important issues about our 'hobby' and were collecting might be heading, particularly at a financial level and all the complexities that compound this; but with this wonderful page you dont need to 2nd guess your purchase. Don Heck has been highly undervalued (artistically and financially by today's standards) and with beautiful inks courtesy of Wally Wood, the character depiction, action and layout are quite superb here...worth everything and more that you shelled out for it. This page captures the joy of this book and the mid 60's Marvel Silver Age perfectly.Congratulations on an excellent purchase of a classic page. |

Steve Ditko Strange Tales 131, p 26 Owner: Kevin Koch Comment posted on 3/9/2015 Great page Kevin. I agree with Timothy's comment that in the main, Steve Ditko's work on Dr Strange was far more elaborate, dynamic and intricate than his Spiderman work (with the exception of a number of stunning issues). With Dr Strange he allows his wonderful design sense to permeate every aspect of the page as seen in your lovely page. |

|
Thor #171, page 15 Owner: Ron S Comment posted on 3/5/2015 Ron, this is an absolutely extraordinary page. Given it was near the end of Jack's run at Marvel, with his interest waning and frustrations increasing with the 'Marvel Machines' treatment of their star artist, that he should create such wonderful pencils in a powerful impacting composition, totally enhanced by Everett's technically strong inks is just amazing. |

This is five panels of terrific. I love Mr. Fantastic problem-solving, the difficulties of a Thing robot, the inking that brings us closer to three dimensions than Stone managed, and really the whole transitional feeling of this from those early days to the more established FF books. ![]() Cheers Glen, you have eloquently summed up how pivotal and visually exciting this page is and how it lays the all the necessary visual and verbal planks for the 'magic' that will soon follow. |

|
Amazing Spider-man #12, page 19 Owner: Ron S Comment posted on 10/21/2014 Congratulations Ron, you have acquired a wonderful page. As you state, it is so 'meaty' in terms of storytelling devices such as angles of view, main characters and the human touch of linking in the everyday 'man in the street,......this is part of what was lost with subsequent illustrators of this title, no matter how slick or talented they were. Ditko was the 'master' and you have a 'masterpiece'! |

The Chair Owner: glen gold Comment posted on 7/25/2014 Hey Glen, what a beautiful & heartfelt gift. It reminds me of a restaurant that used to exist in Paddington, an eastern Sydney suburb; nothing special in the dining area, but when you went to the bathroom WOW..Wall to Wall Kirby...comic pages covering everything except the plumbing! Dont think it still exists. Yours is a wonderful testament to what is great. |
