CAF Update #143

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between April 17-23, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. I've picked this David Mazzucchelli Daredevil #232 page, an Art Adams and Al Milgrom Fantastic Four #349 page featuring the alt team of Ghost Rider, Hulk, Spider-Man and Wolverine, a Hellboy page drawn by the great P Craig Russell, a sweet Black Costumed Spider-Man on a Gargoyle by Charles Vess, a large Frank Brunner Doctor Strange painting, a painted prelim from a Doctor Strange card art by David Palumbo, a Dick Dillin and Frank Giacoia World's Finest page featuring Superman and Batman, a very early Mike Gustovich piece featuring Doctor Strange (has the master of the mystic arts put a spell on me?), a Mike Kaluta Batman and the Shadow pinup from 1984, and lastly a Scott Pilgrim #4 page by the amazing Byran Lee O'Malley! A little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
