Comic Art Fans Update 164

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between September 18-24, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. They have a very nice Howard the Duck #6 page by Gene Colan with inks by me second favorite inker of his after Tom Palmer - Steve Leialoha! There is also this Irv Novick Detective Comics Batman battle page from issue #418, a Rich Larson Judge Dredd Cover from 1988, a C. C. Beck Captain Marvel painting where it seems he's channeling Moebius, a phenomenal Marvel Two-In-One Annual page by Jim Craig featuring the Thing and Black Bolt, a Neil Vokes Untold Tales of Spider-Man #1 splash with Spidey and Dr Strange, a Vigilante #21 page with art by Tod Smith and Rick Magyar, a stunning Mark Texeira Black Panther painting from 2018, this hard to get Jeremy Bastien illustration, a Swamp Thing commission by Art Adams, and finally a Wizard Magazine cover prelim by Alex Ross featuring Superman and Captain America. As you can see, a little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
