Who is Caroline Cash?
Caroline Cash is an American comic creator and illustrator best known for her Eisner and Ignatz Award–winning series PeePee PooPoo. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Vice, The Nib, and MoMA, and she is the author of Girl in the World. On January 1, 2026, she began her run as the writer and artist of the iconic comic strip Nancy.
What is IC3?
Indie Comics Creator Con (IC3) is a growing platform of both in-person and virtual shows committed to providing an affordable, dynamic, reliable, and inclusive environment that brings together independent comic book creators, publishers, art collectors, and fans to celebrate and support unique and diverse creators in comics.
What is IC3@OAX?
Our Indie Comics Creator Con (IC3) is now part of OAX and will showcase established and legendary independent comic book creators, as well as up-and-coming indie talent.
The Original Art Expo (OAX) will take place in Orlando, Florida the weekend of February 20-22, 2026. OAX is the premier narrative art-focused event in the world that exclusively showcases original comic book, illustration, collector card, comic strip, game, animation, and other visual storytelling art. The show is an intimate, intense, and immersive three-day art fair and trade show hybrid focused entirely on this emerging and important art collecting category.

THE OAX 2026 ART AUCTION & FUNDRAISER EVENT PROXY BIDDING
Proxy bidding is now open and bids will be accepted through the OAX Auction & Fundraiser CAF Gallery. Each artwork will have a minimum bid amount specified in the FOR SALE field and in the artwork description. Make sure to WATCH this gallery to receive updates on the art to be auctioned!
To submit your proxy bid, use the CONTACT OWNER form on each artwork lot, or email info@oa-expo.com with your proxy bid amount. When placing your proxy bid, please provide us with your maximum bid amount. Proxy bids will not be revealed prior to the live Floor Bidding. If a lot receives more than one proxy bid, we'll use those proxy bids to set the starting bid amount for Floor Bidding during the live auction.
The OAX 2026 Art Auction will be held the evening of Saturday, February 21st from 6:15pm to 8:00pm EST, after the main show closes at 5pm EST, and after the Jack & Roz Kirby Awards, which will run from approximately 5:30-6:15pm. During the auction Attendees, Guests and Exhibitors will be treated to an open bar and food. Contributed by the Guests of the show, more than 80 artworks will be offered at auction, with a portion of the artwork's sales supporting the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, the Hero Initiative, the Kirby Museum, and the Project Pinball Charity which benefits a local Children’s Hospital.
THE JACK & ROZ KIRBY AWARDS
OAX is home to the newly created Jack & Roz Kirby awards, an annual award recognizing innovation, excellence, and humanity in narrative communication. For its first year, the Kirbys will consist of seven total award categories that celebrate the artist's journey. Read our most recent announcement which details the Core and Legacy award categories, as well as the distinguished Voting Committee and Advisory Board members, many of whom will be in attendance at OAX 2026.
