Purchased directly from Bill at SDCC2023.
Bill was a guest of the con. He was also promoting his new book, Three Rocks: the Story of Ernie Bushmiller: the Man Who Created Nancy. He had brought a variety of dailies with him. I thought this one captured the newly published book. Bill was also inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame. A great honor for a great talent. He has been drawing the daily Zippy strip since 1976. And he does it all himself. No assistants. Really incredible and really a kind and thoughtful guy.
