Here we have a pensive moment and a wonderful narrative in this opening story page. Batman laments that the criminal mind of Man is everlasting but perhaps, Batman and Robin are the ones that are becoming outdated. This is THE BEST era of the Batmobile design and this page shows off all of its attributes of this wonderful time in Bat-history. The gaping bumper and grill, the sinister headlights, double glass bubble canopies and giant sweeping bat wings on the rear fenders! Every panel with different perspectives of the Batmobile.
