Description

Has there ever been a triumvirate in comics quite like Seth, Chet Brown and Joe Matt, the "Toronto three?" For more than 30 years the trio has been interacting and making influential and quality comics work. Sadly, the threesome ended upon Joe's untimely death in 2023. What makes the Toronto three unique among other groups of artists working in similar styles in the same place at the same time was that each of the three was doing autobiographical work and drew the other two into their stories. So we were able to eavesdrop on the interactions of the three from the viewpoints of each of the three.

Seth has been prolific, and routinely sells original work. Joe was incredibly slow in his work, but fortunately he had drawn and almost inked what became a final issue of Peepshow (the last four pages were inked by Chet). And Chet has been increasingly productive but almost never sells his work. Finally having acquired a Chet Brown cover this year, I post that work, as well as a Joe Matt cover and an early Seth page. RIP Joe Matt.

I am posting this same description for each of the pages of Joe, Chet and Seth I am putting on CAF today.
