| Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
| A: | I am a big fan of Nexus, by Mike Baron and Steve Rude. I began reading it since First issues 6-8, the first bowl-shaped world series. I always look for pages from these issues, and from later bowl-shaped world trips. I missed the cover to Nexus #45 the first time it was auctioned and regretted it - the next time I saw it I pounced! I love how Rude draws the Badger. |
| Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
| A: | I am a lawyer at a big firm in New York. I was born and bred here, and now have two teen daughters. I have always been interested in art - of all kinds - and I also have a large contemporary art collection. I also have a targeted collection of first editions by favorite 20th Century authors. I guess I am just a collector at heart! |
| Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
| A: | I have been collecting comic art for about 15 years, but more seriously in the last 8-9 years. I was an early reader of comics and continue to read favorite series. I have never been into collecting comics, which was fortunate as my comics were stored at my parents' house which burned down in 2012. For some reason, even though I am a long-time art collector, it never occurred to me that I could buy original comic art. I stumbled into the hobby and now love it. |
| Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
| A: | I store most of my collection in portfolios, which I use to enjoy easy access to my pieces. I have about 12 pieces framed, which I store in various places, including two pieces in my office (American Flagg! and Nexus). |
| Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
| A: | Early Nexus pages American Flagg! pages by Chaykin Early The Badger pages New Mutants pages by Sienkiewicz (especially issues 18-20) Love & Rockets pages, Death of Speedy by Jaime and Human Diastrophism by Beto |
