Description

Mixed media (Copic marker, white acrylics, India ink, and colored pencil) on bristol board. Measures 18"x24". Signed by the artist.

I read an online fanfic a few years ago now which involved numerous women of the Batverse out together tooling around and fighting crime on their motorcycles. Somehow that mental image stuck with me and I thought it'd make for an interesting piece of art, as did Richard. We went back and forth with a few ideas regarding the bikes and eventually decided to not only put the women on classic Harley Davidsons, but each one of them is on a bike from the year the character was first introduced as follows:

Batgirl: '61 Sportster
Batwoman: '56
Black Canary: '47 Knucklehead
Huntress: '77

Richard really poured his heart into this. We had a blast finding reference images for the specific bikes each lady would ride. Thank YOU for such a great commission idea!
