Description

I've admired Cliff's work in the Bat-family books for a bit now, so I was pleased to see him on the guest list for the 2005 Dallas Comic Con. Since Nightwing is far and away my (and my wife's for that matter) character out of that entire group of characters *and* Cliff drew a pretty doggoned fantastic NW, he was of course the obvious choice... although I'm betting a Huntress or Catwoman would've been pretty spectacular as well. Maybe next time around ;) He did the basic figure in non-repro blue pencil and then did *everything* else directly in ink with a brush pen. Very impressive how quickly he was able to do this finished drawing. Cliff's super friendly too, so if you ever see him at a con, you should go hang out at his table for a while. Ink on 11"x14" Bristol.
