DescriptionBursting forth from the Bronze Age! The great new series from the New House of Ideas - The Atlas League! The old Atlas line, while brief, had a lot of cool stuff going for it. Lots of great art from folks like Howard Chaykin, Neal Adams, Klaus Janson, Ernie Colon and Steve Ditko and cool characters like the Grim Ghost and Phoenix. I love the idea of a unified team from all those bits and pieces and was very happy that Greg was interested in doing this cover. I think he style matches really nicely with what Chris did on the first two. Man-Monster's face is fantastic and Protector and Scorpion looks fabu~. Love this one! Based, of course, on Infinity Inc. #21. And, for the record, the Chris's "Lettering" credit has to do with the masthead / logo. The cover type is my hack-job. --- The League, still reeling from last month's revelations about the Phoenix, finds it has two new problems on its hands - the arrival of two new team members! Original Cougar Jeff Rand's cousin Rachel debuts as the brand new Cougar while Sgt. John Hawk's granddaughter Patricia arrives as the team's government liaison. Hawk's arrival also pushes the team into a new structure with Phoenix, the Protector, the Demon Hunter and Sgt. Hawk as the core with other heroes being called in as needed. And if that's not enough for you, the mystery of Morlock's arrival in the present day begins to unfold as we learn more of the mysterious plans of the Golden Fuhrer! It's a story we had to call - Shadows And Portents! Original size 11x17 [and I'll pre-emptively © and trademark the awesome Atlas League logo - if nothing else than on behalf of Chris] Social/Sharing |

Chris Ivy is talentednuts - thanks for helping me catch my mistake there Aidan. This one was actually penciled by Greg Kirkpatrick. Chris did the first issue.
Not that Chris's contributions to this one don't make it even better :)
