DescriptionGrim Reaper: Castle of Terror"Grim Reaper: Castle of Terror" was a superhero video game released in 2001 on the PS2 and other systems. It featured the Standard Comics character, the Grim Reaper battling his way across Nazi occupied Europe to free the prisoners of a Nazi experiment, situated within a Carpathian Mountain Castle, the titular Castle of Terror. Loosely based on "Grim Reaper Comics" #13, which featured Nazi attempts to reanimate the dead, the game featured over the shoulder perspective as the player controlled the Grim Reaper. In this still, he defeats the Nazi cyborg menacing him throughout Level 2. That's right - this was just Level 2!! The multilevel storyline and survival-horror like atmosphere made it the most popular superhero video game to date (not that there was a lot of competition before that). It paved the way for the Grim Reaper video game series, featuring various adventures set in WWII and providing ample opportunity for players to deal with Nazi soldiers and terrifying situations. ~~~ Yeah, I wish this was real! I hated this game for lack of good cheat codes! Graphics were good for it's time!
