DescriptionLast of 4 pieces I'm posting by Ryan today. He'll be jumping on Uncanny Avengers now so thought it would be cool to post a piece from the arc that really got me into his work in the first place.The first four issues of Scarlet Spider, both interiors and covers, were inked by Michael Babinski and this was my favorite of those. Ryan just draws great Spider-Men and I really dug his work on this book...no surprise as this is the fourth Scarlet Spider cover I've posted! I bought a couple of interior pages when it was first released and picked this cover up from Ryan recently. It's actually 2 pieces - Ryan's original pencils paired with Babinski's inks over blue line. On the published image the red in the costume against the black background just looks cool and exudes the "darker" Spider-Man vibe. Very cool to own one of the earliest images that made me a fan of Ryan's. Thanks, man, and keep up the good work! Social/Sharing |

Stegman is really a standout upcoming talent. Thank you for sharing some of the best works I've seen by him, your collection is outstanding my friend!

Another great Stegman spidey cover! Like you, I fell in love with his work during his run on SS so it still holds a special place for me. Congrats on another great piece!
