Description

This is from the last issue of Tales of Suspense before Captain America started his run in this title. In true Marvel fashion, the two heroes meet for a knock-down, drag-out before coming to terms. It's Iron Man's way of welcoming Cap to the book. I love that this page has action in all panels, and features the two heroes throughout. Don Heck's art really shines here. I know his art can be divisive among fans, but I think he was at the top of his game with his run on Iron Man in TOS, and pages like this just help to prove my point.

Beautiful Cap vs Iron Man fight page from the woefully underrated Heck. Great example of that early Marvel magic!
