DescriptionThis week I am focusing on two very early appearances of Spidey's symbiotic black costume.In this issue, which came out concurrently with Amazing Spider-Man #252, Spidey has just returned from Secret Wars with Doc Connors and his brand new black costume. In the last three panels, we see one of the very first times that Spidey utilizes his new costume's special transformative power. In fact, this is the first time we see him go from street clothes into the black suit. (In AmazSM #252, he first changes from costume into a regular black outfit, then later the costume gloms onto his naked body as he lies in bed). As much as I would love to own an actual page from AmazSM #252, I figure this is the next best thing. Social/Sharing |

This made its way to the right collection :) SO happy for you Pablo, and such a monumental point in the Spider-Man storyline. So much changed from this point on and the suit can really be seen as the catalyst. Those four bottom panels really steal the show. Congrats!!

It is next to impossible to get more historic than this. Yes an ASM 252 page would be great but in terms of page quality I can't see you surpassing this. What an acquisition. Bravo!
