Description

This is an illustration inspired by the Disney parody of Jack Kerouac's "On The Road" novel, a story written by Fausto Vitaliano, illustrated by Paolo Mottura and first published on Topolino #3109.

Even though most of the novel's themes couldn't be part of the Disney story (for obvious reasons), the road trip as freedom is there and you can only be in awe with Mottura's ability to illustrate the stunningly beautiful American landscape.

And in this illustration, we get a glimpse of that America, the lightheartedness, the sense of freedom, the amazing landscape with the beauty of its colors, the awesome classic American cars...

Can't get much better than this, isn't it?

Published in the Disney/Panini "L'Arte Disney di Paolo Mottura" Art Portfolio and also the book �I miti del Cinema di Paolo Mottura� by Giunti, 2017.

Amazing illustration by Paolo, brilliantly composed and beautifully colored! I especially love Goofy... And that mousy pin-up on the billboard :)
