DescriptionI'd enjoyed putting together the "last issue spectacular" covers that Mitch did for me so much that I couldn't help but think about building out that 80's Crusaders universe.TJ has become a great go-to artist for me. Whether pure pencils or fully inked work he's never let me down. After doing the initial covers for the "brand new era" I'm really happy he's been able to contribute to this version of the line-up as well. This cover is inspired by the classic Rich Buckler / Dave Cockrum cover to X-Men #97. The Mummy and Mr. Justice are the real stand outs here (check out Justice's face!) but our hero's frightened faces are pretty cool too. But, really, mummies and sci-fi have always made me weak in the knees so I love this cover just for that. Chris did double duty here as both letterer and colorist. Superb job on teh colors! The Mummy's mask is excellent and I really like the shading on Justice's cape. As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :) Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... Continuing the action from last issue! Having now obtained the magical Khepresh helmet and the Sekhem Scepter has the Mummy, Ra-Hotep, truly become all powerful? But as the Mummy and Mr. Justice face off at Chicago's Ohare Airport the team finds that they have an additional problem. Mr. Justice appears to be both far more powerful than ever before but also much colder and more distant. What's come over the team's resident specter? This Issue's Cover ... The Mummy and Mr. Justice face off in front of a fearful Pow-Girl, Shield and Jaguar. Social/Sharing |

I can't think of a single ACTUAL Mighty Crusaders cover that has topped the ones you've commissioned. This one is absolutely amazing.
