DescriptionMike Mignola doesn't like to do splash pages. Why? I wish I knew. Maybe because he does so many covers and just doesn't want to do more big images... But in the past 18 issues of Hellboy (when this page came out), Mike had only drawn 12 of them. So this splash is lucky 13! The page shows the crashed nose cone of the spaceship, the chrysalis cocoon of the “Conqueror Worm” and the half-men who are worshipping the Worm.Social/Sharing |

I like all of the MIgnola pieces you have. Could this one be any more phallic!! Cool stuff-I was interested to see so much of his work in one collection. Benno
