Description

Inspired by Barks' "Christmas on Bear Mountain" (and its sequel, by Faraci and Cavazzano, "Zio Paperone in.. Un altro Natale sul Monte Orso" first published on Topolino #2717 in 2007), this is a cover prelim for Egmont and also IDW publishers.

I love Cavazzano's pencil work and I immediately found this piece simply outstanding, both the overall composition and the level of detail. Plus, it's inspired by one of the most important stories ever (the very first appearance of Scrooge McDuck, my favorite Disney character ever!) so it was a no-brainer.

Published in Disney Classic & Remake #1 "Paperi sul Monte Orso fra Passato e Presente".

Beautiful tribute by the master to the legendary first appearance of Scrooge! It's my favorite Disney character too, and I'm very proud to own a decent copy of that book :)
