DescriptionIt's been too long since I had the chance to update my gallery - a pretty decent backlog to get through as we head into 2017. But, thought I would kick things off by sharing this beautiful sequence of three Sandman pages (9-11) from the 'Seasons of Mists: Vol. 1' issue. Kelley Jones was at the top of his game, IMHO. No Sandman in the sequence - but given the beauty of the art and Malcolm Jones III's stunning inks, he's hardly missed. [2 of 3]Social/Sharing |

1. As the others noted, this is a wonderful three-page sequence from the arc, and for that matter, from the entire series. 2. Jones and Jones III were an excellent artistic match. And 3. Of your three pages, this is the one I remember most as it was the one that revealed the "Mark of Cain" and the Biblical "Land of Nod" reference. Of the latter, I remember saying aloud, "Now why didn't I think of that before?" But then again, Gaiman has a knack for that.
