Fantastic Four 27 cover June 1964 (recreation in 1995 by Chic Stone after Jack Kirby).

I am very excited by the twice-up recreation of the cover of the first Doctor Strange crossover (June 1964) by Chic Stone. This was Chic's (according to some sources) first time inking Jack Kirby on the Fantastic Four. Chic started inking Jack Kirby at Marvel with the interior to Journey Into Mystery # 102 (March, 1964).

This 1995 recreation of the cover is painstakingly identical. While the top title, logo, etc. is one single stat the bottom is all Chic. So while the original art from 1964 would be nice, I do have a recreation by (one of the two) artists who worked on it originally. Plus of course it features: "The Sensational Dr. Strange."
