Description
Sorry for the glare on this pic, was colored with some oil based pencils and reflects light like a bastard when trying to take a photo of it will try to replace with a better one later. But other than that a convention piece from way back at the beginning of Linsner time, these never seem to show up anymore, id imagine the die hard fans have already bought what few have survived.

Wow, that has to be the earliest Linsner drawing I've ever seen.

I read once Linsner used to do these for cons to try to make a bit of cash and someone from Marvel came over and threatened him so they were crumpled up and binned at the con? I saw a Thor one once and possibly an Elektra but not sure what else is still surviving.

If that's true, I wonder if Linsner was singled out by Marvel. If so, why that would be the case unless it was because of the general subject matter of Cry For Dawn and the "banned in Canada" banner on display. Otherwise, Marvel would be running out of breath as they threatened everyone in Artist Alley. Where's that megaphone??

Oh this predates Cry for Dawn so unlikely it had anything to do with what he might have been doing in the published world, and over the years the big two have stomped on many a little artist.
