Description

This nostalgic advertisement appeared in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen 101 (April 1967) and Brave & The Bold 71 (April-May 1967). At the time I had friends who had built the 1964 Revell Gemini model. I loved space models and remember this advertisement and how I dreamed of owning this capsule. Henry Boltinoff was a DC comic stable. His last work for them was "Cap's Hobby Hints" which this is probably from.

The capsule was actually won by a boy from Portland, OR who had to donate it to a local museum (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry.) See also the copy of the print ad below.

I loved Henry Boltinoff's work and this is an excellent example. I wish I could find a Super Turtle story by him.
