DescriptionAccording to an interview in the Comics Journal, Joe Kubert agreed to work on this strip for low pay with the idea that his students at the Kubert School would assist and gain experience. After a few months, he ended up doing all the work himself, so he dropped the strip and Gray Morrow took over.This is fairly late in Kubert's run, so it's likely he drew this all himself. I love the way he drew the spectators. Strips are now printed so small that artists would never bother adding that level of detail into a daily strip now. Social/Sharing |
