DescriptionThis item is original inked art on 11" X @15" on 2-ply board (not a blueline) of Joe Sinnott rendered artwork, both pencils & inks with gray washes depicting Marvel Comics' Loki from the Thor comics and the three Thor MCU films to date. I took a digital photo because the scanning couldn't capture the image ink lines and washes anyway near as faithfully is the photo does. Joe was the first artist to work on the Thor series after Jack Kirby in the early '60s and this was one of the two characters Joe and Mark Sinnott decided on for the 2018 Joe Sinnott Inking Challenge for the Inkwell Awards' annual event. This is the first time in eight years that the inked art is not on a smaller blank variant cover. It should also be considered that Joe does very few commissions anymore with his busy schedule. Joe signed this art and donated it to the non-profit Inkwell Awards.Social/Sharing |
