Great cover!!
Yup, "Wow" and "Fabulous" are the words... Congrats on this wonderful cover!
Ok, this is one my favorite covers ever! Congrats Bill!
Spectacular!!
AWESOME!
Sweeeeet!
Great cover.
I've always been a sucker for Spidey vs Vulture mid-air fights! Congrats on landing the piece!
Beautiful cover, Bill! I like the whiteout art correction on these old-school pieces. It's part of the process. Congrats!
Now THAT is a Spidey cover!
And the hits just keep on comin’! Totally agree with your description - lots to like about this one! It’s really an image that makes you want to do what a cover should - open up the book ASAP and see what’s going on inside! Congrats!
Bill, you're making it extremely difficult to come up with new superlatives with every new piece you post! How about one for the entire collection: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Iconic!
And, the hits keep coming! A great Cockrum cover, from a a great time early in the Spectacular Spider-man run.
What a dynamic, action-packed cover! So cool!
One of my FAVORITE early Spectacular covers. Tremendous!!
My favorite character battling one of his classic villains, all depicted by a comic legend. What more could you want?
The hits keep coming for Bill J.!!! Another cool bronze age masterpiece from your collection! Thumbs up!
WOW !!! One of Cockrum's very best !
I sure hope you have a safe. This collection is growing more incredible by the day!
A great Cockrum bronze age cover.....not much to add.
Is there an end to the Hit Parade? Yet another great score.
The hits keep coming and coming
A great Cockrum cover. Another gem in your collection. .Congrats ! !
Great cover. Love the composition. Congrats!
Amazing Cover! Congrats
I may never drink coffee again.
Sweet! Love the perspective and action. The tension is palpable.
Quite honestly Cockrum is not one of those artists that comes to mind when I think about fabulous Spider-man delinators; but boy howdy is this just a truly SPECTACULAR depiction of ole webhead! Love the composition on this. A very strong Spidey cover, and great example from Cockrum! Congrats, and thanks for sharing!
Very memorabloe cover of that time period. You are really racking them up Bill!
Big fan of Falcan and Vulture splashes and covers. The wings allow for some very striking images.
Really dynamic cover by Cockrum, and I love the wing effects on the Vulture!
How did I miss this incredible gem? I love the layout of this Spidey/Vulture battle, with all it's dizzying elements.. It's a perfect example of why Cockrum is the master that he is.
What a fantastic cover! And inked by one of my favorite inkers and people, Frank Giacoia. He was such a character. Bill, you would have loved him. He lived a few houses away and was always at the local coffee shop. He was there so much that him and his brother bought the place. I used to sit with him all the time and drink coffee and listen to his stories. My dad loved him like a brother. Frank often had problems finishing jobs and would call my dad to help out. Dad inked a good % of his work.
What a terrific story! I would have loved to have coffee with him. Sounds like a great guy! Your Dad sounds like a good sport.
Can't be better!
For sure each drop of ink is liquid gold !
What a great cover!
The action, the buildings, the perspective - it all merges together into a phenomenally great cover. Truly a gem.
even without the woman hanging off the edge of the building. this cover is a haymaker of classic spiderman - esp by Cockrum no less. it's top notch. congrats again good buddy.
There is no small piece in your collection, and this one is no exception, great pick !
Wow! Gorgeous Cover !
Congrats Bill !
