Description

We can say that the illustrations for the GIBUS (a company producing sun awnings/pergolas/shade sails etcetera) calendar have been a regular works outside Disney for Intini.
Every year they choose a theme and Stefano prepares 12 illustrations (one per each month) plus one cover.
Making use of the same pair of original characters, one looks like a snowman and the other a penguin, with the not easy task to put one of the company manufactured products in each piece, Stefano managed to illustrate pieces inspired by cinema, history, travel locations, etcetera.

This piece is from the 2012 Calendar where the theme clearly was related to some of the greatest comic books (and strips) characters. Here's Asterix. I always thought Intini's own version of Uderzo's characters would be terrific, I'm now convinced more than ever.
