Description

Altai & Jonson is a detective story/humor series written by Tiziano Sclavi and illustrated by Giorgio Cavazzano. First published in the weekly magazine "Corriere dei Ragazzi" starting from 1975, its last episode in 1985.

They're a couple of private detectives, one's young and skinny while the other is older and looks like a cowboy, that lives and works in San Francisco. Driving an old wrecked Volkswagen Beetle and with a shabby office as an operating base, this penniless duo manages to resolve cases that look weird and unsolvable, even though they don't make much money out of it.

It is one of the series that greatly contribute to the Cavazzano's myth, we find him here evolving, experimenting, becoming more and more dynamic.

Here's a commission, realized by the Master, that shows both Altai & Jonson, and also their old Beetle!!!

Cavazzano is worldwide known as a Disney master, but his own characters are just as amazing and fun. Great piece!
