DescriptionAnother Iron Man post today from another 2014 Young Guns alum – Mahmud Asrar. Got this a while back from Paolo at Cadence Comic Art.This was actually my first piece by Asrar and I basically just immediately liked the way it looked after I saw it. It reminds me of those great “suit up” scenes in comics/movies, here with the first panel being a close up of the chest plate followed by the featured image - a great looking flying Iron Man in Black and Gold. This armor iteration had a pretty cool look, a little bulkier with more of a militaristic feel, and multiple viewable repulsors throughout. Of course the color scheme was an original departure, which lent to some nice dark inks in the art, like here. A couple smaller images and a head shot close it out. Appreciate y’all checking out my recent Iron Man adds! Social/Sharing |

That's how Iron Man armor should be illustrated - crisp and clean. Great page!

Great page! I enjoyed Mahmud Asrar's art on the Indestructible Hulk book but missed out on a few of the splashes I had my eye one unfortunately.

Oh man, so many awesone shots of Iron Man on this page. Asrar nailed it! That second panel brings to mind all the great Iron Man flying scenes from the various Marvel movies.
